MORE INFORMATION:

Dr. Laude ("LAW-dee") has been a family doctor since 2007. She worked in Chicago and New York City before becoming medical director of a Houston clinic in 2017. A couple years later, she met an energetic small-town doctor at a conference-- Dr. Mahaffey. Visiting his office, she was impressed by the quality of care and the on-site services he was able to offer, as well as the deep and longstanding relationships he had with his patients and his community.

After 5 years in Houston, Dr. Laude moved back to the Midwest for her husband's job but missed her previous patients and colleagues. She had left a piece of her heart in Texas. So she reached out to her respected colleague in Cleburne. Dr. Mahaffey, who welcomed her to join his team care team in providing tele-medicine care to patients.

Dr. Laude chose the field of Family Medicine because she enjoys developing long-term relationships with patients and empowering them to improve their physical and mental well-being. She completed an additional board certification in Obesity Medicine to help her patients prevent ailments related to excess weight, such as joint pains and diabetes.

She is eager to put her skills into practice to serve the Cleburne community and looks forward to meeting you!

In her spare time Dr. Laude enjoys reading, volunteering at her son's school and learning to play the guitar. She also loves to travel with her husband and children and hopes to someday visit every continent with her family.
