McDavid Mahaffey - MD, PA, FAAFP
Board-certified in Family Medicine and recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP), Dr. Mahaffey combines extensive medical expertise and knowledge with a genuine passion for serving his community. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and has spent his career helping patients achieve healthier, fuller lives through preventive care, early diagnosis, and comprehensive treatment plans.

Charla Sperring - DO
Dr. Sperring is dedicated to practicing the full scope of family medicine and finds great fulfillment in caring for entire families across generations. Amy Laude - MD
Dr. Laude chose the field of Family Medicine because she enjoys developing long-term relationships with patients and empowering them to improve their physical and mental well-being. She completed an additional board certification in Obesity Medicine to help her patients prevent ailments related to excess weight, such as joint pains and diabetes.

Dorothy Watson - MSN, APRN, FNP-C
My goal and mission in life is to serve others and direct them how to live long, healthy lives. I am passionate about teaching how to prevent, reverse and treat diseases from a holistic perspective that involves the synergistic functional way God made us, incorporating our physical, mental and spiritual health.

Sarah Odom - MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Sarah Odom is a native Texan and has over 12 years of experience in healthcare. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Tarleton State University and then later went on to receive her Masters of Science in Nursing at Walden University. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Sarah takes pride in working alongside great physicians and consulting with their expertise to provide individualized care to our patient population.

Jaqueline Perez - MSN, APRN, FNP-C
I have been working in the medical field since age of 17. I began my journey working as CNA in nursing homes. Later I became a Paramedic at age 19. I received my Bachelors of science in nursing in 2006 from Oklahoma City University and then later went on the receive my Masters of Science in Nursing from South University in 2018. I spent many years working in ERs, on the ambulance, and trauma helicopters. I later found my passion working in LTC settings, being able to make a difference and care for geriatric population that is underserved is rewarding for me. I take pride in working alongside and consulting with the excellent physicians at the Mahaffey family Medicine.

Amanda Norr - MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Amanda Norr is a Family Nurse Practitioner who grew up in Michigan and has called Texas her home for the past 11 years. She earned her BSN from the University of Memphis and her MSN from UT Arlington. Amanda spent the majority of her nursing career in the Neonatal ICU before transitioning to nursing school for three years before ultimately becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner.

With pollen counts and poor air quality at record highs, we continue to consider our region the allergy capital of Texas. We are excited to announce that Mahaffey Family Medicine is providing full scope Allergy testing and services, as well as sublingual and at home/self-administered injection programs. Skin and serum testing on site will also be available. We want to offer the best in the region and have so many clients that have allergies, asthma, and other skin conditions.
Make an appointment to discuss the program with our team of experienced staff!
We will be open to helping people initiate care and transition care from other programs if needed to provide the most up to date Allergy care and testing to our community.
